TaVi Clonda,born on 15th of September,in Romania,goes by beliefs like “Live your dream” and “Exceed your any form of limitation”.He started playing music in his first year of school at 7,by taking piano lessons.While listening to Elvis tracks, love for music and for performing in front of people grew within him.At 15 years old he started taking guitar lessons at School of Arts, and he fall in love on the spot with the sound of guitar strings which is why he has never abandoned guitar ever since.The same year,his first of high-school he gains his first victory performing on stage by becoming with his girl partener ”Prom King and Queen”.It was his first big performance in front a large audience and ended with big success.
At 17,he reveald for the first time his acting skills ,by playing a role in a high-school comedy play and afterwords ending the show with a 3 song performance with his guitar which made the high school principal call him “Master of entertainment”.
One year later,in 2000, he goes to Transilvania University,Aeronautics, but he also followed his way with music by taking vocal lessons in School of Arts in Brasov. In all this time,while taking vocal lessons he performed on stage at many national festivals and gained many trophies and recognitions of his talent as a vocalist,and also being finalist at the greatest musical festival in Romania,”Mamaia Festival ”. He started being called by producers of some TV shows at National Television,TVR 1,and in 2001 he was finalist in Valeriu Lazarov tv show “It’s raining with stars”,
In 2003 he began his tour around Meditaranian Sea with his orchestra and dancers , as the Director of Entertainment,vocalist and presenter,performing all around Europe in countries like Greece, Malta,Cyprus,France,Spain,Italy,Ukraine,
Israel,Turkey,etc,gaining a lot of stage but also life experience.
In 2004 he comes back home in Romania and signs a contract with National TV,NTV,and participates in few tv shows like Fresh Club,School of Stars with Razvan si Dani,produced by Titus Munteanu,etc..
In 2005 one of his dreams,to see America, came true when he began his 6 months contract in Miami,Florida,USA, as a singer with live band.
In august 2006 he took part at MTV MUSIC AWARDS at Miami Airlines Arena,show that change his prespective upon singing,performing on stage ,composing and making a real show.Tavi had the amazing opportunity to be backstage with stars like Puff Daddy,Alicia Keys,Gwen Stefani,Ricky Martin,Shakira and so on.
In autumn 2006 he returns in Bucharest where Forin Groza ,one of the members of “Hi-q “ band introduces him to former Bosquito members,who needed vocalist.
So,in 2006 BANDIDOS is born. Tavi becomes Bandidos vocalist and in 2 years they release an album called “Nu-mi dai scapare” with 3 singles and videos: “Bandidos para siempre”,”Nu-mi dai scapare” and “Atunci cand esti tanar”performing all around the country but also abroad in Italy,Spain,Germany,taking over almost 250 outdoor and indoor concerts.
After 2009 New Year’s Eve biggest concert in Romania,which took place in the largest Plaza in Romania, in front of Republic House,where Tavi as Bandidos vocalist performed next to the most famous bands in Romania like:Directia 5 ,Voltaj,Holograf,Mandinga and Iris,Tavi goes his own way ,begginig his solo career.
First single “Listen,I Pray” his own work,music and lyrics.
In 2010 he writes over 9 new songs and “My calling” wrote with O.J-Eye, a young musician and dj from Bucharest,becomes his first video in his solo carrer.
In 2011 it’s time for Tavi 3rd single ;”End of Time” a song he wrote with a lot a love ,song that reveals his sensitive heart and temper.”End of time” video is released for Valentine’s day and dedicated for all the lovers around the world.
Tavi’s 3rd single is played by a radio in L.A. and becomes news in California papers: “A young singer from Transilvania,Dracula's Country,talking about the End of Time... what is that?2012?or just another love song?u decide..just listen to this:TaVee-"End of Time" KVCM - The Radio Station of Los Angeles Valley College”
In 2010 he joined a beautiful cover project intitled “Friends Band” and at the beginning of 2012 they became the Show Band in a very faimos TV show with Cristi Brancu “Confidential” at “Antena 2 TV” which broadcasts every Sunday evening.
Tavi Clonda has also been a member of Artist National Football Team since 2006, sharing the stage over the years with Romanian artists like Adrian Enache,Aurelian Temisan,Kamara,Free Deejays,etc.
